Adding Accounts

Follow the 8 procedures to install a new Account after you have received the Setup information from IQSI.

The following are required fields on the Associated Account Screen

Remote Information = Use this Tab if you are going to assign this account to a Remote Inspector.
Required Fields:

Account Type = Industrial/Commercial/Residential

Plant Number = 7 Characters Max, This number is unique and cannot be duplicated for any type of account.

Plant Name = 20 Characters Max (use 1st address line if name is too long).

Account ID = 30 Characters Max

Address = Service Address

State = Select the State for this Account

Choose the correct Account type to ensure proper setup in control center. The Plant Number is unique to U-Trap-It therefore use a system that helps ID this property in U-Trap-It. The Pass Word is needed for security reasons during module communication. If the Plant Name is to long use the first address field to complete. The Account ID should match what you use in your accounting system. The State is required to correctly ID the Technicians Pest Control License number in U-Trap-It for this account. The Pass Word is only needed for Module Communication, (i.e. Modem or FTP data Transfers). Use the Notes filed for specific information about Servicing this Account such as Security and/or Safety measures.

Open U-Trap-It and go to the Associated Accounts Screen.
Select Add from the Plant Menu Button, bottom right hand corner of the screen.
The Setup Diskette(s) that came with your setup from IQSI will have the Plant Number that was assigned by your company or IQSI. When adding this new account the Plant Number must be EXACTLY the same as the one on the Setup disk otherwise the transfer of the setup data to U-Trap-It will not work properly. (Both Diskettes have the same information)
After the account has been added to U-Trap-It select this account from the Associated Accounts Screen and go into the U-Trap-It program.
Select the Utilities button from the Main Menu and go to Synchronization / Load new Plant Data.
The default Path should be the A:\ drive. Insert the Diskette into the A:\ drive. Select the radial browse button out to the right of the path and find the Directory on the disk that belongs to this account. Select the Directory with the correct Pant Number to make sure that it is in the Path. (i.e. A:\18746\ where 18746 is the Plant Number).
Once the full name is in the path Select update and the setup information will be transferred to U-Trap-It.
Select Pest Management / Device Monitoring from the Main Menu and you are ready to service this account.
