U-Trap-It Logon Issues with version 4.52

Local Area Network U-Trap-It Users
|
Module Registration
- Select File/Maintenance/System/Module Registration
- Select Register Additional Logon’s to allow for multiple users in
U-Trap-It.
- Select Additional Login’s from the Pull Down.
- Call In-Quiz-It for the Unlock Codes and give them the System Code
to register the total number of logon’s needed.
- Each specific user will have a unique identification logon within
U-Trap-It; therefore if the user is logged at a specific workstation
they cannot logon at another workstation until they have logged out of
the current workstation.

Service Patch for U-Trap-It Version 4.52
|
If you have Downloaded and installed U-Trap-It version 4.52, you will
need to Download and install the Service Patch.
- The Service Patch can be found
here.
- Download the patch and install over U-Trap-It version 4.52

Patch will fix following errors (ServicePacks/Trap452_SP1) |
Unable to launch U-Trap-It from the desktop due to the user is already
logged on.
This error will occur if you were running U-Trap-It and you failed to
close U-Trap-It and power down the computer, or if you were running
U-Trap-It and it locks up or you computer gets a GPF (General Protection
Fault). The Log file in U-Trap-It is still active the user was not logged
out U-Trap-It properly.

If the Patch has not been installed on your system perform the following
operation until you are able to install the Patch:
|
- Stand alone Computers that are not installed on a Network
Open Windows Explore and find the directory in which U-Trap-It was
installed, (default directories listed)
- C:\Program Files\MultiPlant\Data or C:\Program Files\Remote
Pant\Data or C:\Program Files\Remote Inspector\Data or C:\Program
Files\Corporate\Data
- Open the Data directory under the Module Directory Name you
currently have installed:
- Erase the currentl.tps file
- Now you are able to open U-Trap-It again under the same user name.
Network Workstation usage.
Follow the same steps as above except the currentl.tps file that needs
to be erased will be located under the data directory on the shared drive.
- (i.e. S:\U-Trap-It\Data) You need to erase the logon file that all
network users are addressing when they login.
- Erase the currentl.tps file
- Now you are able to open U-Trap-It again under the same
user name
