First, make sure that
U-Trap-It is NOT running on the scanner!
Open File Explorer and Reference the above diagram.
On your computer U-Trap-It
4.5 is installed (by default) to \Program Files\MultiPlant. (Usually on
"C:" drive)
If it is not installed at this location, seek
assistance from the technician that installed it.
The Left window displays the all folders you must click
on to display the proper files in the Right-hand window. (Note: only the
final 3 folders are highlighted in the above picture)

First,
Click on C-Drive

Click on
"Program Files"
-
Click on "Multiplant"
-
Click on
"Data"
-
Click on "CEFILES"
In the
Right-hand window you should now see a list of files ending with:
".hsp" (highlighted in red)
and ".trp" (highlighted in green) . . . These are the data files to
copy.
Some Filenames
will differ, above is only example
The easiest way to copy these files is to open
2 "MyComputer" windows.
The first window opened to the CEFILES
directory shown above. The second window opened to the scanner's root
directory. (Mobile Device -> MyPocketPC).

Tag all the
files in the CEFILES folder - - keyboard:(Ctrl-A). [All files selected]

Use Mouse:
Right-Click over selected files, and while holding button drag to
scanner's window and release button.

Select
"Copy" when prompted.

Answer "OK"
or "Yes" to any further prompts. (Note: Select "Replace All" at first
chance.)

If no error
messages occur, you have successfully copied the files necessary.
Close all
open file windows on your desktop PC.
Run U-Trap-It on the the
scanner to verify data transfer, before leaving your office. |
