The first step in a Proactive Integrated Pest Prevention Plan is to conduct periodic Facility Assessments to evaluate the entire facility and grounds for issues that could affect pest management. A thorough and easy-to-use method of conducting Facility Assessments is incorporated into version 5.0 of the U-Trap-It* System. This U-Trap-It System feature does not require the use of bar codes to record the observations of the inspection. It uses the defined service areas and our Inspection Builder Technology* to record the observations. The Inspection Builder is a unique method of recording observations on the handheld to create an inspection report with complete sentences that a layman can understand. And, it’s done without typing any words or sentences on the handheld. It's a fast and very accurate method to record observations. Only the U-Trap-It System has this technology. If any issues are found then the System goes further to Alert the users and track the resolution of the issues to ensure they are corrected.

Alerts and User Defined Thresholds
New in U-Trap-It* System version 5.0 is the capability to automatically analyze collected information to determine if conditions exist which exceed thresholds set by the user. The System will create an Alert if a threshold is exceeded. This Alert will be displayed on both the desktop computer and the handheld. On the handheld the tech will be presented with any Alerts which have been generated when they service the Service Area where the conditions exceeded the threshold. The technician can then record what corrective action(s) was taken to remedy the condition. If none is taken then the Alert will stay active. If the technician takes corrective actions, they can easily record them on the handheld which will then update the System Alert.
U-Trap-It Report Generator
To easily fulfill the user's need for information the U-Trap-It System incorporates a unique automated report generator. This feature, which is only available in the web-based versions of the U-Trap-It System, enables the user to schedule the automated delivery of reports and graphs to fulfill informational needs. The user can use the U-Trap-It Report Generator to customize a schedule to auto-generate one or more reports and/or graphs to be sent to one email address or multiple addresses. Scheduling the auto-generation is easily controlled by the user. Once a report or graph has been scheduled it will auto-generate based on the reporting frequency chosen. The user can generate the same reports for all their clients and also generate specific reports to fit the needs of other clients. The reports are created and sent via email in PDF format. This feature eliminates the need for the client to directly access the U-Trap-It System to obtain their report information. It makes the reporting and graphing features of U-Trap-It easily accessible to all clients. If the client wishes to see more detail or additional information related to their account they still have the ability to log in to the U-Trap-It System.
